Dr. Chameen Sams

APACRS Congress in Thailand

I was pleased to contribute to the APACRS Congress in Thailand, joining leading ophthalmologists from across the Asia-Pacific region for a dedicated MIGS Academy workshop focused on the role of Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) in cataract patients.

During the masterclass, I shared practical insights on patient selection, clinical outcomes, and my experience incorporating MIGS into cataract surgery. The workshop concluded with a hands-on wet lab, where ophthalmologists had the opportunity to gain practical experience with MIGS implantation techniques and discuss strategies for managing complex surgical scenarios.

Educational meetings such as APACRS provide an invaluable platform for sharing knowledge, advancing surgical skills, and improving patient outcomes through collaboration and innovation. It was a privilege to contribute to this international educational program and engage with colleagues dedicated to advancing ophthalmic care.
